Chinese Double Sided Embroidery

   Though our main business is to make and sell single sided embroidery paintings, we have several skilled embroidery artists who can make double sided embroideries as well. We can custom make a double sided embroidery from a picture you provide, or we can custom make a double sided embroidery you are looking for.    The double sided embroidery is a technique in which stitching takes place on both sides of a single transparent silk fabric. The design shows on both sides (front and reverse). Such a piece is normally mounted on a wooden frame as a screen, one really can't tell which side is the front or the back.

   Most of the double sided embroideries, almost all, people see in shops have the same images on both sides. However there are a few double sided embroideries that have two different images on both sides. It's a mystery and secret how this kind of works are made. In our studio, there are three embroidery artists who know how to make it. If you are interested in obtaining one, please feel free to contact us. But you will have to pay the deposit and wait some time before the artists can make this unique embroidery work for you because they are always so busy.
